We are now a household of THREE cats, a dog and fish. On Saturday my parents both heard meowing in our backyard and discovered a tiny kitten under our grill. They tried to get it and succeeded for a second but the little one wiggled out of my mom’s arms. After that, they weren’t sure where it went. Later that day they heard lots of meowing near the van. My parents searched all around the van, under it, in the hood and just couldn’t find it. They knew the kitten was too little to be on its own so they left food and water outside for it overnight. On Sunday morning my dad excitedly came inside saying he heard the kitten again and this time he and my mom were able to grab it. Fast forward to yesterday (Wednesday): Pepper Hoody (since we found him in the hood of the van) Parten is officially 8 weeks old, 2 lbs and healthy member of our family. We have all bonded with him… now hopefully the other animals enjoy having a new very playful sibling.
