I enjoyed Meet Me at Midnight by Sophie Sullivan. I’m not sure the title really reflects the story though. It references a very specific (albeit important part) of the story. There are lots of themes explored: family conflict, self-reflection, accepting what life throws at you and independence vs letting others help you. While this sounds heavy, the story is told in a way where you’re rooting for the main characters and want to see them succeed and be happy. All in all, I enjoyed the author’s writing style and the story and want to read more by her.
