So, previously my appointment to see Dr. Innis was on November 5, 2009. Which is pretty good I suppose. And relatively soon for a genetics specialist right? Well Dr. Hall sent a referral email last Friday evening and suddenly I have an appointment on September 16 🙂 That’s two weeks from tomorrow! I am so excited. I would absolutely love to go to Baltimore though. We’ll see. One the one hand, I want Innis to be eager to do a trial. But on the other hand, how awesome would it be to go to Baltimore this winter? Be in the sun & sand. A couple hours from Courtney, a couple hours from Mom’s family… so amazing. We could go talk to them a lot, try to figure out who else in my family had Multiple Pterygium Syndrome. Determine if Paige and I are related. Go to the aquarium and have breakfast with dolphins. I feel a tiny bit selfish though. Mom would have to miss a lot of work and it would probably cost a lot to travel (stay?) out there. But I would think that since I’d be volunteering for a trial they’d provide some assistance with this?
Who knows. I just know I’m excited. 🙂
