Let’s Go Tigers!

On Saturday night my family and I went to a Detroit Tigers baseball game down at Comerica Park. I\’m not a huge baseball (or sports in general) fan but it was okay. I was thinking about it and I\’m pretty sure this was the \”biggest\” thing I’ve done besides going to work / volunteering in awhile. About halfway through the game I started fading, meaning I was tired and wanting to go home. 🙁 I felt a little anxious too. I was prepared for a \”crash\” because I had extra medicine, my trilogy ventilator, mask, blood pressure machine, oxygen monitor (to spot check), crackers and Gatorade. A crash for me has to do with my adrenal insufficiency diagnosis. Basically, my body doesn’t produce enough cortisol for what my body needs to handle a situation and everything freaks out. Cortisol regulates breathing, blood pressure and more. The vent is comforting when I crash because it helps regulate my breathing and takes a little stress off my body. I may have been a little bit OVER prepared but better to be safe than sorry. A highlight of the \”game\” was getting chocolate dippin dots ice cream. I think I\’m behind the times because I\’ve never had that before haha. I made it to the end of the game (we lost) but was pretty tired. I wasn’t very interested in walking around to find something to eat. Instead we picked up a Little Caesar\’s Hot and Ready pizza and breadsticks. After we got home I had a breadstick and then went to bed. Overall, it was a fun but exhausting evening. Here are some pictures from the game:
