“The Monday Night Heartbreak Club” by Jane Lovering was my first read by this author. It took a little bit for me to get into the story and like the characters. It seemed like there were a lot of long sentences which made it a little tiring to read. But, as the story progressed I got more into it. At one point I thought things were wrapping up but then there was a big twist about 75% into the story. I thought there was a lot of character development and self reflection. Overall, I enjoyed the story and would give it 3 out of 5 stars.
